This sensitive language allows people with type ll diabetes to relate easier to their blood sugar level while staying in touch with their own sensation. The project was developed in collaboration with Waag Society.

A traditional diabetic machine which looks ugly to the user.

Final Product

As we can see here these cutlery were designed for disabled persons but they weren´t functioning  100% correct with the people in need.

Mickael Boulay made a non-conventional survey with 100 different persons. He asked them to press 3 different shapes of clay. After he classified all the clay samples, The results of the people´s gestures, some similarities and same different started to appear. He made an observation and wrote down some interpretations. This is a picture with some of the samples.

He also experimented with new staff that could help the human in the kitchen because human teeth appears not really specific (mainly due to an omnivore alimentation) He tough if he could make tool that are equivalent to animals teeth.
